About the role
We are currently recruiting for a part-time Certified Veterinary Nurse to join the team at our animal welfare facility in Epping. The successful candidates will provide a quality veterinary nursing service to the animals within the animal care centre and enhance the long term viability of the clinic by providing a high level of customer service including a good working knowledge of veterinary issues.
Applicants may be required to work weekends and public holidays.
Roles duties & responsibilities
Deliver high standards of customer service and advice.
Provide quality surgical support to Veterinarians, anaesthetic monitoring, wards maintenance and foster checks.
Provide veterinary nursing services to RSPCA shelter animals.
Monitor patients and maintain accurate records.
Identify and recommend improvements throughout the Clinic.
Skills & experience required
Well-developed veterinary nursing knowledge, skills and experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage with a variety of different people.
Ability to work independently and be a supportive member of a team.
Strong problem solving and organisational skills.
Ability to work productively in a varying and fast paced environment.
A positive and can-do attitude is essential.
A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
