About the role
We are currently recruiting for casual Customer Care Officers to join the team at RSPCA Epping.
The successful candidate will effectively coordinate solutions for RSPCA customers, by ensuring the provision of a professional, accurate, timely and pro-active approach to quality customer service. The successful candidate will also drive the sale of retail products and promote other RSPCA services.
Applicants will be required to work over a rotating roster which includes weekends and public holidays as required.
Roles duties & responsibilities
Provide an outstanding service experience to all customers visiting or calling the RSPCA;
Drive retail sales and promote services offered by the RSPCA;
Facilitate animal reclaim collections in line with council contractual obligations;
Assist customers surrendering their pet, bringing in stray animals or adopting a new pet;
Facilitate tracing on animals to reunite them with their owners;
Provide advice and assist customers with adopting a new pet;
Provide care and enrichment to the animals in the adoption areas;
Respond to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner; and
Actively ask customers if they would like to make a donation to contribute towards the care of other. animals at the RSPCA.
