About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Recruitment Business Partner to join our People & Infrastructure Team in a permanent full-time capacity. The successful candidate will play a key role in partnering with hiring managers to establish and implement effective workforce planning and recruitment strategies to ensure that we have the right resources and capability to achieve our vision of ending cruelty to all animals.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will:
Proactively partner with the business to establish their current and future resourcing and capability requirements to enable them to achieve their objectives.
Embed and enhance the centralised recruitment model for recruiting employees and volunteers, ensuring that the organisation is well resourced to achieve its strategic and operational objectives.
Effectively partner with hiring managers to establish effective recruitment strategies to attract talent and enable quality hiring decisions.
Manage multiple end to end recruitment processes simultaneously, including arranging the initial intake meeting, advertising, shortlisting, conducting individual and group interviews and facilitating pre-employment/volunteering checks.
Build talent pools and a candidate pipeline for current and future recruitment needs of the organisation.
Develop the capability of hiring managers in best practice interview skills, assessment of talent and onboarding practices.
Effectively manage relationships with recruitment agencies and other third-party providers.
Actively promote equal opportunity and diversity in all areas of recruitment, ensuring a fair and transparent recruitment process for all candidates that is in line with our values.
Design and implement a reporting suite that measures the performance and continuous improvement of recruitment activities across the organisation.
What we are looking for from you
Experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of contemporary recruitment practices, sourcing strategies and workforce planning is essential.
Demonstrated experience with recruitment tools, websites and pre-placement check systems.
Strong customer focus, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
High level literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills, including intermediate computer skills (including use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging work environment.
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
This position also requires a national police check and valid driver’s license
